The team will be led by top Under 13 players Chelsea Edghill and Jamaal Duff.

While Duff will have Joseph Johnson and Kyle Edghill for support in the U13 boys competition Edghill will only have Priscilla Greaves for company.

The GTTA had initially shortlisted Tiara Naraine and Jamaali Homer but they will not be participating in the tournament.

As such, Edghill and Greaves will have their work cut out if they are to medal in the competitive U-13 division.

Jeremy Singh is the lone U-10 boy players making the trip from the GTTA shortlist of Amit Mookram, Dexter De Anjou, Khalil Ninvalle, Kekeem Wright and Shane Singh.

Accompanying the team that departed yesterday were manager Deidre Edghill, former junior national player Lisa Lewis, Rhonda Greaves and Christopher Franklyn.

The players are expected to swing into action on Sunday.
