Final rites: The casket holding the body of horticulturist, political activist and electrical engineer Boyo Ramsaroop (inset) being taken from the Redeemer Lutheran Church yesterday following a funeral service. Glowing tributes by several prominent public figures, his family and friends were delivered at the funeral service following which Ramsaroop’s remains were cremated at the Good Hope Crematorium on the East Coast of Demerara.
