A 17-year-old boy was yesterday remanded to prison for allegedly having sex with a nine-year-old school girl.
Mario Nascimento, of Croal Street, Stabroek, was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge of carnal knowledge, when he appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson.
The charge stated that on April 6, he had carnal knowledge of the girl.
Upon hearing this, Nascimento began to cry. “I din do she nothing like dah,” he said.
