Playing for Clarke Rochard against T-Birds, Christian shocked the fans when he decided to take a bowl. His effort nearly led to a T-Birds defeat as they reached 150-8, facing a deficit of 75 runs on first innings. T-Birds had batted first and scored 175 all out to which Clarke Rochard replied with 250.

T-Birds then struggled against Christian’s off-spin and ground to 150-8 when the game was called off as a draw.

Meanwhile at Debe, a dispute denied the Guyanese pair of Paul Bevaun and Ron Ramnath the opportunity to register centuries. Petrotrin batted first and scored 263 all out and Debe Youth Foundation replied strongly with 280-3.

At that point the umpire appointed for the match left and Petrotrin refused to continue the match with another qualified umpire who was looking on, willing to officiate.

At that point, Bevaun was unbeaten on 98 while Ramnath was undefeated on 88.

Scores: At Penal- T-Birds 175 all out & 150/8 (Derwin Christian 5/38) versus Clarke Rochard 250 – match drawn.

At Debe: Petrotrin 263 vs Debe 280/3 (Paul Bevaun 98*, Ron Ramnath 88*) – match abandoned.
