The Conquerors will be depending on top players such as the skillful Mustapha Haqq who plays for the number two team in Barbados and is currently home making another appearance with Conquerors. Also in their line-up is the young and talented 17-year-old Eon Alleyne. He was instrumental in their last victory after he scored both of Conquerors’ goals in approximately two minutes to take the game into extra time with the scores tied on two goals apiece. Conquerors eventually won four goals to three after a penalty shoot-out.Conquerors are rated by many as the top team in the competition and they are the only team remaining in the tournament that has previously won the competition. Not only have they won but they did it more than any other team in the past,  hoisting the tournament’s winning trophy four times. Santos is up against tough competition and Trevor Lewis, Shemroy Arthur and Glenoven Edmonds will have their work cut out for them as they strive to take Santos to the finals.

The opening game between Riddim Squad and Guyana Defence Force is also expected to have its fair share of thrills when skills and a lot of fans are eagerly awaiting the match-up.

One reason is that the GDF are rated as the number two team in the country and they will be going up against the Division One Champions, Riddim Squad in a game that can go either way.

The bond and coordination of family will be vital for Riddim Squad as they will feature junior national player Amos Ramsey and his brother Lyliton, along with the brothers, Sceyon, Steffon, Sherwin and Sheldon Hope.

Meanwhile the GDF lineup includes Trevon Lythcott, Stellon David and Delroy Deene.
