A police corporal yesterday succumbed at the Georgetown Public Hospital to injuries he sustained in an accident.

Corporal Bertrand Edwards of 233 Parfait Harmonie, WBD was riding his motorcycle on June 8 when he was struck down by a car a police release said.

Police are investigating the accident.
