The police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Rameshwar Persaud, 24, of Number 70 Village, Corentyne whose body was found yesterday at his home.
A police release stated that Persaud’s body was found around 5 am. This newspaper understands that foul play is not suspected but the body is at the Skeldon Hospital mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
