Helping out:

Helping out: Workers from Puran Brothers are seen in this Jules Gibson photo taken yesterday, removing garbage from Church Street in the vicinity of the Indian Monument. An official from the garbage disposal company told this newspaper that the company had not resumed garbage collection for the city council, but it had responded to the government’s call for help with the garbage crisis in the city. Last Thursday, he said, the company assisted with ten garbage trucks, a bobcat machine and an open-back truck. The following day, Puran Brothers provided six garbage trucks, a bobcat and an open-back truck, while yesterday, six garbage trucks, a bobcat and an open-back truck were made available. The persons working on these vehicles are employees of Puran Brothers.
