Grace Kennedy Remittance Services (Guy) Limited under the Western Union Brand recently donated the sum of $150,000 towards Guyana Fashion Week 2010. In making the presentation Marketing Manager Natheeah King noted that the annual fashion weekend event has not only become a part of Guyana’s entertainment scene but also develops the budding fashion industry in Guyana. She said it gives the young designers a chance to showcase their ability and at the same time provides exposure on the local and international stage since the show is also attended by international media and fashion personalities.
