Lucky escape: A woman escaped serious injury after she was hit and dragged by a car on Albert Street between Third and Fourth streets, just before eight o’clock last night. A resident said he heard an impact and ran out of his house to see a woman lying near the back wheel of a white car (PKK 7565). He said that when the female driver got out of the vehicle and saw the woman, she fainted. Both women were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital but later left for a private institution. The resident said police were yet to visit the scene even though the police station was located only a few yards away. This photo shows the damage to the car following the impact.
