The National Sports Commission and the Guyana Relief Council are among 11 statutory bodies that have not had their financial statements audited for more than five years, the most recent Auditor General’s report states.
According to the 2009 report, the National Sports Commission last had its financial statements audited in 2004, while the Relief Council was last audited in 1994.
