A nurse/midwife was stabbed to her face and had acid thrown on her in a brutal attack at her workplace at the Georgetown Public Hospital last evening.
Ursula Houston of Laing Avenue was admitted to the Burn Care Unit of the hospital following the attack. Her attacker, a former lover, fled and was being sought by police. He stabbed Houston over her left eye with a broken bottle and threw acid on her,
