Another promise for Leguan residents on treacherous roads

Work on several key roads across the Essequibo River island of Leguan is still to be completed and the Public Works Ministry is expected to mobilise there in the near future.

Region Three Chairman Julius Faerber told Stabroek News on Friday that most of the road works are to still to be completed but he noted that repairs are part of a programme the regional administration is pursuing. Leguan residents told Stabroek News during a recent visit to the island that most of the road works are still to be completed.
