It was the state’s holding company, National Industrial and Commercial Investments Ltd (NICIL) that facilitated the transfer of land at Sparendaam where a new, exclusive housing scheme, dubbed Pradoville 2, is being built, according to a source there.
When contacted recently, head of NICIL, Winston Brassington confirmed that the entity had handled the East Coast land transaction but did not disclose more information as he said that a press release had been issued
