A 44-year-old security guard died on Tuesday evening after he was struck down by a minibus in the vicinity of Conversation Tree. Dead is Leroy Benjamin of Vryheid’s Lust, East Coast Demerara.
According to a police press release, the accident occurred at around 10:30 pm when the man was struck down by minibus BHH 4522 on the Rupert Craig Highway. “Investigations revealed that the driver of mini-bus BHH 4522 was proceeding along the roadway when it is alleged that Leroy Benjamin attempted to cross the road and was struck down,”
