Three men charged with assaulting their wives were placed on a bond to keep the peace for a year by Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo in the New Amsterdam Court on Monday.
The magistrate stipulated, however, that should the men breach their bond they will each be sentenced to one year imprisonment.
