Cavaliers’ Scott fined for criticising referees

NEW YORK, (Reuters) – Cleveland Cavaliers head coach  Byron Scott has been fined $35,000 for criticising game  officials, the NBA said yesterday.

Scott chastised referees Ed Malloy, Bennie Adams and Kevin  Fehr after the Cavaliers lost to the Orlando Magic 111-100 on  Friday in Orlando.

“They’re going to miss calls, but they can’t miss them all night long, especially on one end,” Scott told reporters after the game.

“I truly feel we didn’t get a fair shake tonight in the game.”
