Over 220 persons are expected to benefit from the $40 million investment at Paradise on the East Coast Demerara where 52 families were allocated house lots, the Government Information Agency (GINA) reported.
Minister of Housing and Water Irfaan Ali said the allocation is an end to years of sacrifice that many families have made while renting properties or sharing residences with other family members.
He urged allottees to make full use of the facilities that are offered during the one-stop-shop to make the necessary connection with the banks, surveyors
