President Bharrat Jagdeo told a large gathering at the new Port Mourant market during his commissioning address on Thursday that persons will no longer be allowed to do roadside vending outside of the facility but several grouses surfaced yesterday.
However, the market as it is can only accommodate 679 vendors but there are over 850 vendors, Stabroek News understands.
There are problems with the places being given to the vendors to sell and several of them who sell provisions from their Canter trucks
