Deon Braithwaite, who is accused of attacking a tenant with knives on Christmas Day, was on Tuesday placed on bail in the sum of $25,000 after being charged with unlawful and malicious wounding.
Braithwaite, of Lot 6 D’Urban Street, appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, to answer a charge of unlawfully and maliciously wounding George Barnwell on December 25. He pleaded not guilty.
