The Guyana Police Force yesterday offered an “unqualified apology” to actor and stand-up comedian Lyndon ‘Jumbie’ Jones for his incarceration last weekend, which they described as a case of mistaken identity.
“The Police Force wishes to offer an unqualified apology for the consternation and/or trepidation the arrest of Lyndon Jones may have caused his family, friends and himself,” the police in a release yesterday said.
