A man and the mother of his children yesterday appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court charged with assaulting each other.
It is alleged that Cleveland Williams unlawfully assaulted Jennifer Boodie, with whom he has four children, and she in return, assaulted him so as to cause him actual body harm.
The prosecution told the court that on the day in question the two had an argument and then assaulted each other with a cutlass and iron. The prosecution stated that Williams dealt Boodie a cuff
