Chandrika warms up for WICB First Class tournament with unbeaten century

Opening batsman Rajendra Chandrika warmed up for next week’s West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) First Class tournament with a patient unbeaten century at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Ground, Bourda yesterday.

Chandrika, playing for Assad Fudadin’s XI, showed his class with 11 fours in his even 100. His team closed the first day of the two-day game on 222-2 from 96 overs; Vishaul Singh and Fudadin were the not out batsmen at the crease on 12 and nine respectively.

Devendra Bishoo was the only bowler with any success,
