Nakamura v Vachier-Lagrave

In Section C of the Tata Steel 2011 chess tournament which is currently being played in the Netherlands, Tania Sachdev registered as the lowest-rated player of all three sections, A, B, and C. With three rounds to be played, Tania is already close to achieving a coveted grandmaster norm and is currently in sixth place in Section  C of the tournament, competing among male grandmasters and some international masters. In photo, Tania examines the chess board carefully during her game with J W De Jong (2437) whom she defeated in 46 moves.

In the Tata Steel 2011 chess tournament which ends today, it is world champion Vishy Anand and US champion Hikaru Nakamura who lead the field with seven points each in Group A after ten rounds.
