A bandit who yesterday morning discharged a round at a sales clerk outside his Bourda workplace before escaping with a lunch bag, was captured by alert policemen a short while later.
Police said in a press release that around 08:10 hours a man armed with a firearm confronted sales clerk Mathura Narine, 51, as he was about to enter his workplace at Narine’s Trading, Regent Road, Bourda.
The armed man discharged a round which caused Narine to drop a haversack that contained his lunch,
