Police are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) on the alleged sexual assault of an 11-year-old female remand prisoner at the Beterverwagting Police Station even though the identity of the alleged perpetrator – a policeman – remains a mystery.
When contacted yesterday, Divisional Commander Gavin Primo said that investigations into the matter are continuing with a view to seeking legal advice since the alleged perpetrator has so far not been identified.
