Chopping victim in stable condition

Trevor Nero, the man who was chopped multiple times about the body in Albouystown on Tuesday night, spent several hours in the operating theatre yesterday and is now in a stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).

Nero, 44, is currently a patient in the GPHC’s Male Surgical Ward. Nero, his brother Theo told Stabroek News, sustained deep wounds to the forehead, hands, feet and chest. The wound on Nero’s forehead, Theo said yesterday, is three inches in length.
