A 23-year-old man arraigned on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and robbery under arms was yesterday remanded to prison after appearing before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
The allegation against Kurt Kendall is that on February 7 at Georgetown, being armed with a gun, he robbed Mothura Narine of one haversack, a cell phone and other items valued $18,500.
