A mother and her three children, of the Charity New Extension Scheme, Essequibo, lost their home to fire last evening.
The fire, which occurred around 19:30 hrs, gutted the two-bedroom wooden house.
According to reports reaching Stabroek News, the fire is suspected to have been started by a kerosene lamp.
