Probation report, psychiatric evaluation ordered on man who admitted nine charges

A man who admitted a battery of charges including larceny of cash and gold, break-and-enter and larceny and escaping lawful custody was yesterday remanded to prison as a probation report was ordered prior to   sentencing.

When Mohamed Ali appeared before the George-town Magistrates’ Court, he pleaded guilty to nine charges when they were read to him by acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
