More than thirty of the region’s senior planning and environment officers are expected to participate in a three-day regional training workshop on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in Bridgetown, Barbados, starting next Tuesday.
The CARICOM Secretariat in collaboration with the Government of Canada will be holding this workshop particularly for those officers who are currently engaged in decision-making that incorporates EIA considerations.
