Minister of Agriculture Minister Robert Persaud told Kwakwani farmers that government is taking steps to help them to expand and develop the agriculture sectors in Region Ten in order to boost their livelihoods.
During the meeting on March 5 which was held at the Workers’ Club, Persaud pointed out that Region Ten communities are unique and would require continued special attention. According to a Government Information Agency (GINA) press release he said,
