Ageday, James hot up cold, wet Eve Leary track

Chavez Ageday and Stefon James put on a sensational run in the boys’ under 20 200 metres when the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) held its National Youth and Junior Championships yesterday at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary.

Despite the wet conditions of the track, Ageday copped the sprint double by outclassing his opponents in the under 20 boys’ 100 metres with a time of 11.1s.
He also made  a late surge in the final 50 metres of the 200 metres turning in a time of 22.3 seconds against the inform James who had won the 400 metres
