The Mayor and City Council’s Constabulary has beefed up security surveillance around the Stabroek Market area following reports of persons there facilitating the sale of stolen items under the pretext of doing business.
In a press release the M&CC said it had received several complaints that some persons loiter around the market area for the sole purpose of colluding with criminals to buy stolen goods. It had, therefore, deployed ranks to the area to help
