Several City councillors yesterday refused to recognise Yonette Pluck-Cort as Town Clerk, while a scheduled no-confidence motion against Mayor Hamilton Green was postponed until the next statutory meeting.
Last week’s meeting had to be adjourned an hour after it started because councillors broke into a screaming match about who was right in interpreting an order by the High Court that called on Pluck-Cort to show cause why she should be serving in the position of Town Clerk.
