A woman who pleaded guilty to possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking was yesterday fined $30,000 and sentenced to three years imprisonment by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton.
The allegation against Simone Samuels is that last Saturday at 348 Cummings Street, Alberttown, she had in her possession 3 grammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. When the charge was read to her at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, the defendant pleaded guilty.
