Police ranks on Tuesday discovered and destroyed a cannabis farm at Millie’s Hide Out, Linden Soesdyke Highway with some 2,000 plants most of which were around seven feet high. An arrest is yet to be made.
Divisional Commander David Ramnarine told Stabroek News yesterday that ranks travelled to the location which is located 13 miles into the backlands following a ‘tip off”. He explained that when the ranks arrived after commencing their journey around 7 am they found a three-acre farm. He said that they also found a camp with some dry rations and clothing which suggested that persons were recently there.
