For persons who are clueless as to what to get mom for Mother’s Day, restaurants are offering sumptuous treats.
Dutch Bottle Café, located at 10 North Road, Bourda, is offering lunch baskets on Mother’s Day, from 11 am. Baskets for four are also available but only by pre-ordering.
A Mother’s Day Lunch Basket for $6,500 can be bought from VIP Pizza Plus, with a package including a stuffed baked chicken, spicy peas and rice, macaroni and cheese, potato, plantain and sweet potato salad, creamy coleslaw, home made ice cream, a bottle of Vasco wine and a two litre bottle of pepsi or soca soft drink. Customers will also receive a T-shirt free with their purchase but they must order early. Bookings close today.
