COFCOR supports African Union proposals on Libyan crisis

The Council of Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR)  met Wednesday and Thursday at Frigate Bay in St. Kitts and Nevis and the CARICOM foreign ministers strongly endorsed  the proposals of the African Union  in  finding a  speedy resolution of the crisis that would reflect the legitimate demands and aspirations of the Libyan people.

According to a statement released by the CARICOM Secretariat at Turkeyen following the 14th meeting of the COFCOR,  the council   reiterated  previously expressed  concerns raised by CARICOM over the loss of lives during protests  in the Middle East and Northern Africa.
