Police yesterday said they had arrested the prime suspect in Friday’s night armed robbery on Mandela Avenue during searches and raids on 25 buildings
The police, in a release, said that the suspect was arrested while the police conducted searches and raids in the city and its environs. A total of 25 buildings were searched and a number of other persons were arrested pending investigations into various offences including robbery under arms, break and enter and larceny, the police said. “Two motor cycles suspected to be either stolen or unlawfully obtained have been seized by the police,”
