Mason sold cocaine to cop

A mason arraigned on three narcotics charges, including allegedly selling cocaine to a constable, was yesterday remanded to prison after appearing before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

The allegation against Leon Garraway is that on May 14 at 79 Dowding Street, Kitty, Georgetown  he sold to Constable 19548 Richards one gramme of cocaine. On the same day, Garraway is alleged to have had 2.5 grammes of cocaine in his possession for the purpose of trafficking. And on May 14 at the said Dowding Street location, the defendant is accused of having in his possession one gramme of cannabis.
