The police are investigating the murder of a 23-year-old miner who was stabbed by another miner at Big Creek Landing in the North West District.
According to the police, Charles Tang of Pomeroon River, Essequibo, was imbibing with another miner at Big Creek Landing, located some 45 km from the Port Kaituma water front, when an argument developed between them following which Tang was fatally stabbed.
The suspect, who was apparently injured, was arrested and is under guard at the Port Kaituma Hospital. The knife suspected to have been used in the incident has
