Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of miner Kennedy Creem, 19, who was beaten to death on Tuesday night at Port Kaituma.
Police said Creem, of Two Miles, Port Kaituma, North West District, was killed around 11pm, at Monessee Backdam, Port Kaituma.
“Investigations revealed that Kennedy Creem had an argument with two men during which he was beaten about his body,” police added. A man was arrested and is in custody assisting with the investigation.
Meanwhile, Creem’s body is at the Port Kaituma Hospital Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
