Accused of stealing pair of jeans from employer

An employee of Ashmins Trading Limited accused of stealing a pair of Levi’s jeans from the store was granted $15,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton on Friday.
It is alleged that on August 10 at High Street, Georgetown; Rawlden Peters, 23, stole one pair of Levis jeans valued $4,900; property of Ashmins Trading Limited.

The defendant who resides at 146 Bagotville, West Bank Demerara pleaded not guilty to the simple larceny charge when it was read to him at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
