Two cars collided last evening on Mandela Avenue

Two cars collided last evening on Mandela Avenue, at the head of Jamoon Drive around 9.30pm. Motorcar PKK 2126 was driven by Pastor Ronald McGarrell while the other was a hire car and the driver’s name was not confirmed.
According to McGarrell’s son, the Pastor suffered minor injuries to his left ankle as well as his chest due to the impact after hitting the steering wheel, while his four passengers suffered cuts and bruises. All the occupants of this vehicle, as well as the taxi driver, were taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The vehicles were taken to the La Penitence Police Station where the taxi could be seen covered.
