Alvin Leitch was yesterday placed on $50,000 bail after he pleaded not guilty to a charge that he unlawfully assaulted his common-law wife and threatened to kill her.
Leitch was granted bail by acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry when he appeared before her at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on charges of assaulting Nafiza Gafoor, so as to cause her actual bodily harm,
