Corriverton painter Clifford Carter, who set himself on fire on Sunday, is now clinging to life at the New Amsterdam Hospital.
Carter, called ‘Chino,’ suffered third degree burns over 70% of his body as a result of the incident, which stemmed from a dispute with his wife, Halima, to whom he has been married for 14 years.
