The Demerara Lioness and Lions Club hosted its annual Health Fair to mark World Diabetes Day recently on the lawns of the round-about in front of Muneshwer’s on Water Street.
In a press release, the group said 38 persons were tested for HIV, 56 persons checked their blood group, 99 persons tested their blood sugar and blood pressure, 35 persons found out their body mass index and over 90 persons accessed information on Tuberculosis, family planning and HIV and AIDS.
