Republic Bank honours top performers: Republic Bank through its ‘Power to Make a Difference Programme’ honoured Anuradha Dev and Kia Persaud for their outstanding performances at the CSEC and CAPE 2011 exams at a special ceremony hosted at its headquarters on Wednesday. According to a press release, Denys Benjamin, Manager-Corporate Operations said the Bank has embraced an overarching vision of youth empowerment through the power to learn and succeed. He noted that this is demonstrated in a number of reward and developmental initiatives, including for top performers at national examinations. Celine Davis, Manager, Branch Support Services, echoed these statements, adding that the Bank continually seeks ways to honour the nation’s youth and to nurture their potential. Dev and Persaud were given monetary gifts and plaques. The Bank hosted a previous ceremony on July 7 to recognise Terron Alleyne’s outstanding performance at the National Grade Six Assessment 2011.
