A 23-year-old West Bank Demerara man was fined $25,000 after he admitted to having in his possession a quantity of cannabis when he appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
Timothy Abrahim of 35 La Grange, West Bank Demerara refuted the statement given against him by Police Prosecutor Nauth, saying that he voluntarily went into his pockets and took out two packets of the illegal substance
